Heritage Financial posts earnings, will pay dividend

The parent company of Heritage Bank, which has a branch in downtown Vancouver, says it earned 18 cents per diluted share in the quarter ended June 30. That compares with 19 cents in the previous quarter and 21 cents in the previous year. Net income was $2.69 million for the most recent quarter.

Olympia-based Heritage Financial said it will pay a regular dividend of 8 cents per share and a special dividend of 10 cents per share on Aug. 15 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 6.

Heritage has 43 banking offices in Washington and Oregon under the names Heritage Bank and Central Valley Bank. Its Vancouver branch is at 700 Washington St.
