Letter: Help out the honest residents

All levels of government seem to lack funds to cover the programs proposed. How about a helping hand from the residents whom we see driving cars with out-of-state license plates? There are regularly more than 60 to 70 cars in my apartment complex at night with out-of-state licenses. I am sure they expect our emergency services to protect them from fire, crime, etc. They send their children to our schools; just sit at any elementary school and check. I call it cheating, dishonest and theft of services.

If you are one of those people driving an out-of-state licensed vehicle, pay up. Pay your fair share. Why should I subsidize you and see my taxes raised to cover your dishonesty?

To the legal taxpayers in Clark County, please report their license number, car description and where they live to the Washington State Patrol. Let’s get some tax cheats to help us avoid more tax increases.
