HOUSTON (AP) — The Houston Astros will recall right-hander Chia-Jen Lo from Double-A Corpus Christi and select the contract of right-hander Josh Zeid from Triple-A Oklahoma City before Tuesday night’s game at Baltimore.

The pair will help bolster a bullpen that lost closer Jose Veras in a trade with Detroit on Monday.

Lo has a 3.24 ERA with six saves in 17 appearances in Double-A and Single-A this season. Zeid, who has been Oklahoma City’s closer since June 15, has 13 saves and a 3.50 ERA in 43 appearances this season.

Houston will option reliever Hector Ambriz to Oklahoma City to make room on the roster. Ambriz appeared in 43 games and is 2-4 with a 5.70 ERA.
