RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll says the team does not have any new information yet on the second examination on the hip of injured wide receiver Percy Harvin.

Carroll spoke after practice Tuesday, following the team having a day off. Harvin was expected to be examined in New York on Tuesday. He’s been bothered by discomfort in the area of the labrum in his hip. Carroll has not indicated which hip Harvin is experiencing discomfort.

Seattle was also without wide receiver Sidney Rice, who Carroll said is in Europe undergoing a procedure to help with his knee. Carroll said the procedure is non-surgical and Rice is expected back on the practice field when he returns to Seattle.

Seattle was also without defensive end Cliff Avril, who has a hamstring injury.
