SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The Sacramento Kings will not bring back assistant coaches Jim Eyen, Alex English and Clifford Ray next season.

The team announced Tuesday the decision to immediately cut ties with the entire staff from last season. Bobby Jackson also won’t be back as an assistant but will remain in the organization in another role.

The Kings fired coach Keith Smart last week and hired Mike Malone to replace him. Malone plans to add his father, longtime NBA assistant and head coach, Brendan Malone, to his staff. Mike Malone has not decided on other hires.
