A 92-year-old woman escaped serious injury after she crashed into a building at the corner of Southeast Eighth Avenue and Southeast Union Street in Camas Friday afternoon.

The woman didn’t quite make the roundabout at the intersection and crashed about 12:30 p.m., Camas-Washougal Fire Chief Nick Swinhart said. She did not have significant injuries, he said, though didn’t have information on whether she was transported or not.

The building sustained minor damage.
