Ridgefield — Dean Millett will receive his Eagle Scout award at 7 p.m. Friday at CDM Services, 2409 Broadway. He is a member of Troop 310 in Ridgefield, led by Scoutmaster Patrick Bartos.

For his Eagle project, Dean built garden boxes at wheelchair-height at CDM Services so residents could have gardens. CDM is a home care provider. It’s primary purpose is to provide long-term care services to those in need. Dean has earned awards for 175 nights camping and a 50-mile hike.

He is also a member of Order of the Arrow. Dean, who graduated June 7 from Ridgefield High School, also has been in the Running Start program at Clark College. His parents are Brian and Kristeen Millett of Ridgefield.
