CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Indians have signed outfielder Clint Frazier, their first-round pick in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.

Taken fifth in the draft, Frazier agreed to a $3.5 million signing bonus. He will report to Goodyear, Ariz., to begin his professional career with the Arizona Rookie League Indians. The 18-year-old Frazier batted .485 with 17 homers and 45 RBIs in his senior season at Loganville High School in Georgia.

Frazier took batting practice with Indians players before Saturday’s game against Washington.
