Vancouver firefighters responded to a luxury home along the Columbia River that was filled with smoke, but found no fire.

Smoke was reportedly filling the house, located at 7109 S.E. Topper Drive, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 9:30 a.m. Two occupants of the home safely evacuated.

The home was filled with light smoke, and firefighters say the cause may be electrical.

County property records indicate the home is owned by an Oregon-based trust. It has 5,300 square feet on three floors, including a daylight basement, and has an assessed value exceeding $1.4 million.
