Travel trailer burns north of Battle Ground

Fire damaged a travel trailer north of Battle Ground early Friday evening.

Firefighters were dispatched at 7:46 p.m. to the 28000 block of Northeast 122nd Avenue to a report of a burning trailer.

Firefighters reported seeing a smoke plume as they approached.

Units arriving saw the trailer was near a house and focused on preventing the fire from spreading to the structure.

The fire was declared under control by 8:06 p.m. An inspection revealed the fire had not spread to the house.

Information on damage or the fire’s cause was not available.
