WASHINGTON (AP) — A person familiar with the situation says the Washington Wizards have traded 38th pick Nate Wolters and the 54th overall selection to the Philadelphia 76ers for Glen Rice Jr.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the trade had not been officially announced.

Rice, who played at Georgia Tech but was suspended and played in the D-League last year, was taken 35th overall by the 76ers — then traded to the Wizards. He is the son for former NBA All-Star Glen Rice.

Wolters averaged 22.7 points per game for South Dakota State. He is a 6-foot-5 point guard.

After leaving Georgia Tech following his junior year, Rice played with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He averaged 25 points per game in the D-League playoffs.
