Guard soldiers’ cars vandalized in Oregon lot

LEBANON, Ore. — The personal cars belonging to 11 soldiers were vandalized while they were parked at an Oregon Army National Guard motor pool lot in Lebanon.

Staff Sgt. John Parsons told KVAL that the smashed windows were reported to police Monday by an employee at a neighboring business.

Parsons says cars were ransacked but nothing appeared to be stolen.

He says a local company, A-Plus Auto Glass, has offered discounts on windows and free installations and others in Linn County have donated support.
