PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled infielder/outfielder Josh Harrison from Indianapolis on Friday and sent catcher Tony Sanchez to the Triple-A club.
Harrison hit .316 with four home runs and 33 RBIs in 60 games with Indianapolis. In 11 games in two stints with the Pirates this season, he went 2 for 11 with one RBI.
Sanchez made his major league debut Sunday and went 2 for 8 with a double in two games.
