A homeless man was found in a downtown Vancouver bank Friday night and arrested for burglary.

The security company for Key Bank, 714 Main St., contacted Vancouver police at 9:50 p.m. to say a man was walking around in the building, Sgt. Rod Trumpf said.

When police searched the bank, they found Stanley L. Frazier, 58, no address, inside.

“It looked like he was going to spend the night in the break room,” Trumpf said.

The building was locked when police arrived, requiring police to call a bank manager. There was no sign of forced entry, Trumpf said, so Frazier might have hidden inside before the bank closed or got in another way.

Frazier was booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of second-degree burglary.
