30 Crestline teachers get $250 each
Friday, March 1, 2013
The digitally driven nonprofit AdoptAClassroom.org has donated $250 to each of the 30 teachers at Crestline Elementary School, which was destroyed in a Feb. 3 fire.
Crestline teachers lost everything in the fire, including all classroom books and supplies they'd purchased with their own money. Teachers spend as much as $1,000 of their own money on classroom supplies annually.
AdoptAClassroom.org has created an emergency response program to give teachers the money they need to resupply their classrooms after disasters.
