SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) — Adrian Beltre doubled in his first spring appearance, Yu Darvish pitched three more hitless innings, and the Texas Rangers rallied for a 5-4 win over the San Diego Padres on Monday.

Darvish walked two and struck out three and has not allowed a hit in five innings this spring.

Beltre doubled to lead off the first and finishing 1 for 3. He also fielded a sharp grounder down the line to begin an inning-ending double play in the second.

Joey Butler and Jeff Baker had RBI singles in the bottom of the ninth for the Rangers, with Baker driving home Julio Borbon with the winning run.

Gregorio Petit singled and Yasmani Grandal doubled during a three-run seventh that gave San Diego a 4-2 lead.
