A Vancouver man suspected of driving while intoxicated struck a vehicle before driving off and crashing into a tree Sunday evening, police said.

Joshua L. Enders, 37, was driving a 2005 Kia Sorento north on Southeast Ellsworth when he struck a vehicle that was turning into an apartment complex about 5:40 p.m., Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

Enders then kept driving, eventually crashing into a tree in the at 1300 block of Southeast Nancy Road, Kapp said. Neither Enders nor the driver of the other vehicle were injured.

Enders was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and hit-and-run.
