HOUSTON (AP) — Aaron Brooks has returned to the Houston Rockets and it’s a completely different lineup from when he left two years ago.

The 6-foot Brooks signed with Houston on Tuesday, rejoining the team that drafted him in 2007.

To make room for Brooks, the Rockets waived forward Tyler Honeycutt, who was acquired from Sacramento in a multi-player trade just before the deadline. Houston picked up rookie Thomas Robinson and Francisco Garcia in that deal and now add Brooks, who averaged eight points and 2.3 assists in 46 games for the Kings this season.

Brooks played his first 312 NBA seasons in Houston and was traded in February 2011. None of Brooks’ Houston teammates from then are here now.
