Recap of Clark College athletics for the week ending March 4:

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Record: 17-12 overall.

Results: NWAACC Tournament at Toyota Center in Kennewick. Defeated Whatcom 84-68 in the first round; lost to No. 1 Clackamas 68-39 in quarterfinals; defeated No. 3 Walla Walla 75-70. Will face No. 5 Bellevue (21-9) at noon Tuesday for fifth place.

Honors: Dominique Johnson was named first-team West Division; Toni Doroha second team; and Ashlie Nguyen was named all-defensive team.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Honors: Sean Price was named first-team West Division.

BASEBALL

Record: 3-1 overall.Last week: Opened the season with a home split of the Linfield JV, winning 3-0 and losing 2-0; swept Clackamas 3-2 and 12-1.

This week: Scheduled to play at Chemeketa (Salem) at 4 p.m. Tuesday; at Yakima Valley on Friday; at Spokane on Saturday; at Big Bend (Moses Lake) on Sunday.

TRACK AND FIELD

This week: Clark athletes are scheduled to take part in the Oregon Preview at Hayward Field in Eugene on Saturday.

MEN’S SOCCER

Division I signings: Forward Borce Antansov, the 2012 NWAACC player of the year, has signed with Oregon State, and goalkeeper James Neilssen signed with the University of San Francisco.
