Cascade Park — Donations continue to flow in from the community to help Evergreen Public Schools in the wake of the February fire that destroyed Crestline Elementary School. Here are some of the latest contributions:
• Georgia-Pacific's Camas mill donated 400 cases of copy paper, worth nearly $11,500, to the school district on Feb. 27. Mill staff promised to give an additional 400 cases in August.
• South Ridge Elementary School's annual community-awareness fundraiser, Roadrunner Healing Hearts, brought in $1,500, as well as boxes of supplies and books, for the district in the second week of February.
• The Rotary Club of Vancouver Sunrise gave dictionaries to Crestline third-graders to replace ones lost in the fire.
• Lacamas Community Credit Union donated $3,000 to the Evergreen School District Foundation on Feb. 13.
