Moeller Video Interviews
Today's video is one of five recorded by editor Lou Brancaccio. This series began Tuesday, March 5 and will end Monday, March 11.
Tuesday: Voting against popular opinion
Wednesday: CRC
Thursday: Binding arbitration
Friday: Prevailing wage
Monday: Legislative session
In a wide-ranging interview with State Rep. Jim Moeller, he discusses Clark County's favorite topic, the CRC or Columbia River Crossing.
When asked on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being an assurance the Washington State Legislature will get funding passed this year, Moeller would only give it a 5. He noted Washington State has several mega-transportation projects that are needed. He made that point to differentiate us from Oregon — already on the fast track to approve its part of the CRC funding — which only has the CRC as a mega-project. This is the second installment in a five-part series.
