Letter: Voters decided; let charters exist

The Columbian
Published:

A Feb. 28 Columbian story reported, “Coalition challenges charter schools.” So a “coalition” of Washington Education Association members and “community” groups is not happy with the will of the people regarding charter schools in Washington state. Perhaps this group fears the progress that children will make in these charter schools because of the minimal influence of the National Education Association and WEA?

No doubt union dues will help pay for this effort to keep poor teachers in the existing system.
