Battle Ground, Camas — Legislators from the 18th District have announced March 16 town hall meetings in Battle Ground and Camas.
Sen. Ann Rivers, Rep. Liz Pike and Rep. Brandon Vick said the meetings will be at 10 a.m. at Battle Ground City Hall, 109 S.W. First St., and 2 p.m. at Camas High School, 26900 S.E. 15th St. Each is expected to last at least an hour.
Rivers, R-La Center, said she’s anticipating a repeat of the strong turnout at the town-hall meetings the two held in early January, also in Camas and Battle Ground, just before the 2013 legislative session began.
“There’s no substitute for meeting face to face with the people you represent,” said Pike, R-Camas.
