STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — Penn State’s pro day for NFL scouts gave Nittany Lions seniors another chance to show off ahead of next month’s draft.

The program’s two best prospects this season might be linebacker Gerald Hodges and defensive tackle Jordan Hill. While he likes going through agility tests, Hill said he’s finally glad he can start focusing now on the kind of training he said will help him get better in the trenches.

Linebacker Michael Mauti was in attendance, too. He didn’t work out but did speak with a handful of scouts.

The hard-nosed Mauti said his doctors tell him he’s ahead of schedule on his recovery from a left knee injury, and that he’s confident he’ll be ready for NFL training camp this summer.
