SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Nate Wolters scored 18 points and South Dakota State got hot from behind the 3-point line in the second half Monday to overcome a slow start and beat IPFW 72-56 in the semifinals of the Summit League tournament.

The Jackrabbits (24-9) shot 70 percent from behind the arc in the second half after sinking just 2 of 7 3-pointers in the first half.

Chad White added 17 points and Tony Fiegen contributed 16 points for South Dakota State, which will play North Dakota State Tuesday night for the Summit League title.

Frank Gaines led IPFW (16-17) with 25 points.

The Mastodons opened up a 10-0 lead, and the Jackrabbits spent the rest of the first half trying to close the gap.
