Evidently, the National Park Service officials don’t recognize when they have made a mistake or are unwillingly to back down when they are wrong. The Park Service may own the building and the land under it, but they do not own the “contents” that made the Pearson Air Museum. The museum, the spirit of the museum, belongs to the people who developed it, to those who donated and loaned planes to the museum, and to the volunteers who made it work.
I, for one, will not visit a museum confiscated by the Park Service. I expect there are other Clark County residents who feel the same way.
