Battle Ground police arrested a Yelm woman Tuesday evening after she allegedly drove recklessly in a Ford pickup, crashing it twice.

Crystal Dobson, 34, was booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana, obstructing a law enforcement officer and hit-and-run, according to a news release from the Battle Ground Police Department.

Just after 5 p.m., a 911 caller reported a woman driving recklessly in the area of North Parkway Avenue, north of Main Street. When officers responded, another call came in that the same pickup struck signs in the 800 block of North Parkway. The report didn’t specify what kind of signs they were. A third caller reported a single-vehicle collision at the 1800 block of Northeast 10th Street, where officers found the pickup had crashed into a tree and a ditch, the news release said.

Dobson was walking away from the crash scene when she was detained by officers and arrested.
