Regional high school artists feted at ESD 112

High school artists from six Southwest Washington counties will be recognized at the 2013 Southwest Washington Regional High School Art Show at Educational Service District 112, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave.

The opening reception is at 5 p.m. Tuesday; the awards program is at 6 p.m.

Students from the region submitted 204 entries. Twelve pieces received awards and will compete in the 40th Annual State Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Art Show in Olympia in April.

Clark County students who received regional awards are Mckenzie Thompson and Trong Nguyen, Fort Vancouver High School; Leila Stutesman, Heritage High School; Hannah Lobnitz, Prairie High School; Tiffany Rhodes and Melinda Hurst, Vancouver School of Arts and Academics.
