CLEVELAND (AP) — Indiana Pacers forward David West is out for Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a sprained lower back.

West, the Pacers’ second-leading scorer with a 17.3-point average, was injured Saturday against Philadelphia. Indiana coach Frank Vogel said the 10-year veteran is day-to-day and could be available Tuesday night when the Pacers host Orlando.

Tyler Hansbrough will start at power forward in place of West, who is missing just his second game this season.

Forward Danny Granger, who has played in only five games this season because of a sore left knee, has been cleared to resume practicing. Vogel said Granger will practice this week and a determination will be made when he will play again.
