Bears agree to 1-year deal with McBride

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- Defensive end Turk McBride and the Chicago Bears have agreed to a one-year contract.
The 6-foot-2, 278-pound McBride has appeared in 66 games and made 24 starts over six seasons with Kansas City (2007-08), Detroit (2009-10) and New Orleans (2011-12). He has 9 1/2 sacks, six forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in his career.
The team announced the deal on Wednesday.
