Supporters of Initiative 522, which would require labeling of genetically engineered food, will host a forum at 7 p.m. Thursday at Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way.

The panel of speakers at the forum include Clark County Commissioner Steve Stuart and George Kimbrell, who helped write I-522 and a similar measure that failed last year in California, Proposition 37.

I-522 will be on the ballot in Washington state this November.

The event, hosted by the Food & Water Watch organization, will take place in Room 201 of the college’s Anna Pechanec Hall.
