Red Cross Youth Council builds leaders

Twenty-five students trained in CPR/AED and 17 were certified for first aid.

Camas — Sixty students were taught the foundations of leadership during a Southwest Washington Red Cross Youth Council conference March 9-10. The middle and high schoolers from across Clark County took part in the Leadership Development Conference at Camas High School, where they practiced team-building exercises and attended seminars on topics including goal planning and conflict management. Additionally, 25 students were trained in CPR and AED and 17 were certified to perform first aid. This was the sixth year of the annual conference.
