LONDON (AP) — A British boxer has been suspended for two years after testing positive for a banned substance found in a food supplement.
UK Anti-Doping says Dillian Whyte tested positive for the stimulant methylhexaneamine after winning a British heavyweight fight against Sandor Balogh on Oct. 13.
UKAD says an independent panel found the case warranted a two-year ban, which was upheld after an appeal by Whyte.
The agency says Whyte used the supplement Jack3D, which he bought over the counter from a nutritional supplements store.
