NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The Hornets have their regular starting backcourt of Eric Gordon and Greivis Vasquez available, and Clippers reserve guard Chauncey Billups also is suiting up for Wednesday night’s game between New Orleans and Los Angeles.

Left ankle injuries kept both Gordon and Vasquez out of the Hornets’ victory Monday night over Denver, a result that snapped the Nuggets’ 15-game winning streak, but coach Monty Williams says they’re ready to return.

Billups, who is coming back from a strained right groin, has missed the Clippers’ past three games.

Gordon is New Orleans’ second-leading scorer, averaging 16.5 points, while Vasquez is the Hornets’ third-leading scorer with 14.1 points per game and assist leader with 9.3 per game.

Billups has played in 19 games this season, averaging 8.0 points.
