Reading Corps helpers lend a hand

Meadow Homes — Volunteers from Educational Service District 112’s Washington Reading Corps Team lent their services to the Mill A School District in Cook during National AmeriCorps Week. On March 15, the AmeriCorps members from Vancouver’s ESD 112 helped the Mill A district by sorting books, organizing a library and spreading mulch on a playground. AmeriCorps members help promote literacy to students through the statewide Washington Reading Corps program.
