TACOMA — Authorities say a second adult child has died after a weekend shooting at a Tacoma-area home. Prosecutors say charges against 69-year-old Michael League will be amended in light of his son, 46-year-old Dennis League’s, death.

Tacoma General Hospital spokeswoman Marce Edwards confirmed that Dennis League died Thursday.

Police say Michael League shot both Dennis and his sister, 43-year-old Danielle Faucett, while they slept early Sunday at the family’s Puyallup home.

Michael League has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder charges. Changes to the charges will be coming soon, prosecutors say.

Michael League called 911 and told a dispatcher what he’d done, prosecutors say, and that his children’s use of drugs and alcohol caused strife in the family.
