Letter: Need for a third bridge is obvious

The Columbian
Published: March 28, 2013, 5:00pm

The incident on March 18 of the semi truck going the wrong way on Interstate 84 and the Interstate 205 Bridge brought forth an important fact: There is a need for an additional bridge crossing the Columbia River.

The obvious remedy is a third bridge built east of the I-205 bridge while keeping everything in place. A good location might be Troutdale to Washougal. There are a lot of possibilities with this site, with very little downside.
