The Clark County Youth House bully prevention team is hosing an anti-bullying event next week.
The event will feature the 2011 documentary “Bully,” which follows the lives of five students who are bullied at school. A panel of community members will then discuss solutions to bullying. An art show, titled “Peace, Prevention, Prosperity and Paint,” will be available for viewing.
The event starts at 6 p.m. Friday at Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St. Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission is $5, with proceeds going toward youth violence prevention efforts in the community.
The event is sponsored by Kiggins Theatre, Youth Commission and Options Youth Program, which is coordinated by Columbia River Mental Health.
