After a one-week closure because of a fire, the Pacific Northwest Best Fish Company’s on-site cafe reopened Thursday afternoon.
Co-owner Kelly Beckwith said the fire was in the separate PNWB Cafe and not in the larger business, 24415 N.E. 10th Ave., north of Duluth on the east side of Interstate 5.
Beckwith said the fire was ruled accidental and was not kitchen-related. He said the fire marshal said the fire was caused by combustion in the wall and resulted in about $7,000 damage to the cafe building
