Vancouver man arrested on suspicion of rape

Alleged victim is a 14-year-old girl

Vancouver police on Sunday arrested a 32-year-old Vancouver man on suspicion of third-degree rape of a child and three other sex-related charges.

Dustin M. Armstrong was booked into the Clark County Jail.

Police said the alleged victim is a 14-year-old girl. They responded on Saturday to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland for a reported sexual assault.

The Major Crimes Unit served a search warrant at a home in the 3100 block of Kauffman Avenue. Police said Armstrong was cooperative with detectives.

Detectives have no information at this time to suggest there are other possible victims.
