The Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools will hold its annual luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 30 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. Sixth St. Students in the culinary arts magnet program at Fort Vancouver High School will prepare the meal.
The foundation provides funds for basic needs, mentoring programs and enrichment grants. Programs include a basic needs checkbook at every school, Lunch Buddies, and medical and dental care for uninsured students.
There is no charge to attend, but guests will be asked to donate to the foundation. To reserve a spot, call 360-313-4730 or email foundationvanps@vansd.org by May 24.
