CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Lawyers for Kobe Bryant and an auction house are scheduled to make arguments before a federal judge in New Jersey about whether mementos from Bryant can be sold.
Berlin, N.J.-based Goldin Auctions is suing for the right to sell the items provided by Bryant’s mother, Pamela Bryant.
But the NBA star says he told his mother she did not have the right to auction off belongings from his days at Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania or his early NBA career.
Bryant’s lawyers told Goldin to scrap the auction, which is planned for next month.
