JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars are down a quarterback for the rest of the offseason.

Former Vanderbilt starter Jordan Rodgers, an undrafted rookie and the younger brother of Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers, had sports hernia surgery Tuesday and will be out until training camp in July.

Rodgers injured his groin on the first day of rookie minicamp earlier this month and hasn’t practiced since. Now, he will miss the remaining 11 on-field workouts before training camp. Without him, Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne and fellow rookie Matt Scott will split repetitions.

Fourth-round draft pick Ace Sanders also remains sidelined with an abdominal/hip injury. He is expected back for minicamp in June.

Other players sidelined include running back Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), defensive end Jason Babin (knee) and defensive tackle Roy Miller (knee).
