1-year-old girl falls from vehicle after unbuckling car seat

She reportedly had bump on her head

A 1-year-old girl riding in the back seat of a vehicle unbuckled herself from her car seat, opened the door and fell out, according to Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

The incident happened on Main Street near East Fourth Plain Boulevard about 12:30 p.m. Friday. The girl reportedly had a bump on her head and was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Her condition was not available.

Police said they didn’t find anything suspicious about the incident.

They cited the driver for driving with a suspended license. His name was not immediately available.
