CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Miami football player Dyron Dye was interviewed by the NCAA’s enforcement office on Tuesday, the third time he has met with the association’s investigators since the probe into Hurricane athletics started in 2011.

The NCAA wanted to meet with Dye to discuss discrepancies between what he told them in previous interviews and what he wrote in an affidavit to support former Miami assistant coach Aubrey Hill, who faces an unethical conduct charge for his alleged role in the Nevin Shapiro scandal.

Dye says he testified a certain way in 2011 because he felt intimidated by now-retired NCAA investigator Rich Johanningmeier. Dye says that Johanningmeier threatened his scholarship and remaining eligibility.
