Letter: A little lighting can shed years

I enjoyed reading the May 25 front-page story “A little legislative touch-up,” about legislators touching up their official photos. I especially liked the part that some of them maintain an “aura of youth” by using photos taken several years ago.

Then I read Lou Brancaccio’s column in the same edition, “Ask a kid about honesty,” which I also liked, but I couldn’t help but notice that in the photo of Brancaccio talking to the kids his hair seems noticeably grayer than in the stock photo that always appears in the same column. But then it’s probably just the lighting.
