Sex offender update

Two local level III sex offenders, the group considered most likely to commit new sex crimes, recently moved to new addresses in Clark County.

Patrick Robin King, 61, registered at an address in the 100 block of East Sixth Street in Vancouver. King was convicted in 1984 for indecent liberties, and served 89 months beginning in 1997 for first-degree child molestation. He knew the victim’s family and had been staying at their residence for about three weeks. He sexually assaulted the 5-year-old girl while she was sleeping on the couch, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

King drives a 1983 Pontiac Firebird with Washington license plate AAG7380 and is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 210 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

He will be monitored by the sheriff’s office Sex Offender Registration Unit and the Vancouver Police Sex Offender Tracking Unit.

Joshua Gene Warbis, 36, registered at an address in the 600 block of D Street in Washougal. Warbis pleaded guilty to two counts of communication with a minor for immoral purposes in 2009. According to court documents, he sexually assaulted two girls, ages 14 and 15, whom he knew. Four years earlier, he pleaded guilty to third-degree rape of a child and third-degree child molestation. He sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl three times, according to court documents. Warbis drives a 1998 Ford Expedition with Washington plates AHR9872. He’s described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He will be monitored by the Washougal Police Department and the sheriff’s office Sex Offender Registration Unit.

King and Warbis are not wanted by police at this time.
