Vancouver schools patron tour is Dec. 6

Steve Webb, superintendent of Vancouver Public Schools, will lead a patron tour of district schools from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 6.

The tours include honors classes at Jason Lee Middle School and the Family-Community Resource Center, community partnerships and the benefits of full-day kindergarten at Fruit Valley Elementary.

The tour will begin and end at the Bates Center for Educational Leadership, 2921 Falk Road. For $4, patrons may purchase a lunch prepared by students in the district’s award-winning culinary arts program.
