MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — Six players scored in double digits on Saturday night and Morehead State won handily over Mid-Continent 107-60 in their season opener.

Bakari Turner led the Eagles with 17 points and Kareem Storey had 15 assists in a game that saw all 11 Morehead State players see time on the floor and all but one score.

Morehead’s Angelo Warner hit one of his three 3-pointers to open the game and it was off to the races. The Eagles were 43 of 86 from the floor for 50 percent, sank 6 of 29 3-pointers, hit 15 of 24 free throws and out-rebounded the Cougars 53 to 28.

Warner and Chad Posthumus each had 15 points, Greg Dotson had 13 and Billy Reader added 10.
