Letter: Dogs should not be taken to market

Regarding Davis Evans’ Nov. 5 letter “Dogs should not be at the market,” I agree 100 percent with his position. It frustrates me that dog owners feel that because they have a special bond with their animal that they need to impose that on me. Dogs can be dangerous and they should be enjoyed at home or in the dog park. We paid taxes to build dog parks for dogs and dog lovers and they need to use them. Maybe someone could set up a farmers market in the middle of the dog park for those who love their dogs? Until that happens, please leave Fido at home.
